Biography of Dlela Lombard

My journey as an artist is rooted in a challenging upbringing in a post-war German family, which ultimately led to a profound Kundalini awakening later in life. This awakening, coupled with a necessary disruption of my career plans to heal childhood trauma, has shaped my resilient and visionary perspective. I strive to bridge the tangible and intangible, the personal and universal, through my evolving practice. Since 2000, I have explored digital art through photo editing, pushing boundaries with non-conformist approaches, and since 2016, I have delved into digital creation rooted in being—transforming formless consciousness into new, imaginative forms without the use of AI.I called the pieces Kniff Art. In 2023, I integrated AI-generated art through surrealist text automatism, creating a synthesis of diverse experiences, visionary states, and cutting-edge technology. My work emphasizes intuition and sensory experience, blending photography, painting, and other mediums with my own digital techniques to craft a rich tapestry that celebrates both the beauty of form and the formless in an ever-evolving artistic landscape.
